CESC FABREGAS is in talks to terminate his Chelsea contract six months early, according to reports.
The Spanish midfielder, who has been linked to AS Monaco and AC Milan, looks set to revive his career with a new club in January.
Fabregas is under contract until the end of the season, but report that he is desperate to be a free agent in the transfer window.
He has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Maurizio Sarri.
The 31-year-old has struggled to cement his spot in the first-team behind the likes of N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho.
And Eden Hazard dropped a huge hint that Fabregas is set to leave during Wednesday's 2-1 win over Watford.
When the Belgian forward scored, he suspiciously raced over to celebrate with his team-mate on the subs bench.
AC Milan reportedly want to snap up out-of-favour Chelsea duo Fabregas and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in January.
But his switch to the Serie A giants could depend on the opinion of his wife Daniella Semaan.
It is understood that the 31-year-old's partner has her heart set on a new life in Italy after four years in London.
