PHILIPPE COUTINHO'S odds of a sensational January move to Manchester United have been slashed by the bookies.
Bookmakers have cut his price from 10/1 to just 2/1 after reports emerged of the Red Devils opening talks with Barcelona.
The Brazilian has failed to nail down a place in Barcelona's starting XI amid frustrations following his move to the Nou Camp.
The bookies have recieved a flurry of bets on this market, with 85 per cent of all punters backing Coutinho to end up at Old Trafford.
Not including staying at Barcelona, United are clear favourites to acquire his services ahead the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Napoli.
The 26-year-old has been used as a second-half substitute in Barcelona's last three victories.
