HARRY KANE limped off the pitch injured following Tottenham's 1-0 loss to Manchester United on Sunday.
Seconds after the referee finished the clash, the England international fell to the ground holding his knee and, with a grimace on his face, struggled to walk while making his way to the changing room.
Kane received treatment after the game and appeared to walk very gingerly in a frustrating afternoon for Tottenham.
As he was liming off the pitch, the 25-year-old shook his head in disappointment and seemed to be in severe pain.
The striker's injury would be a massive blow for Mauricio Pochettino as he is already set to lose Heung-Min Son - who is reporting on international duty for South Korea at the 2019 Asian Cup.
The Argentine coach told Sky Sports: "It's a worrying thing because we are going to lose Son to the Asian Cup.
"And of course if Harry Kane suffers an injury it would be a massive problem for us. That is my worry, that is our worry.
"It was a bad tackle in the last moment from a Manchester United player. It wasn't an intention, but it was a bad tackle.
"There's swelling now, we need to assess in the next few days. I hope it's not a big issue but he was limping off the pitch obviously."
Pochettino might now find himself short of offensive options as the two forwards have been Spurs' main goalscorers this season.
