DARTS legend Raymond van Barneveld’s wife has told a court how she fled naked from armed raiders at their home.
Silvia, 52, said she had a gun put to her head while the five-time world champion, nicknamed Barney, was at an event in Barnsley, South Yorks.
She told three defendants at a Dutch court: “You destroyed my life in ten minutes.”
Barney, 51, later told reporters: “She can barely live in our house now. She’s too frightened.”
The court heard Silvia was home alone in the Netherlands when the gang broke in last year.
She said: “I was naked. I’ve been pulled by my hair, beaten and threatened with death.”
The three defendants, in their 20s, claimed they did not have a gun and denied violence.
They will be sentenced next week.
