Anthony Joshua closer to Deontay Wilder showdown after Fury joins Top Rank in £80m deal, insists promoter Hearn
Gypsy King announced mega new contract on Monday which has seen talks of a rematch with Bronze Bomber break down
EDDIE HEARN insists Tyson Fury's mega-money TV deal means a blockbuster unification fight between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder is closer.
Gypsy King announced a new £80million contract with Top Rank on Monday which has seen talks of a rematch with the Bronze Bomber break down.
Promoter Hearn believes that should ease the process of arranging a blockbuster bout between AJ and the WBC champ.
He told : "I think it's good news for us, probably in that I think Deontay Wilder should be looking at it and say, 'My fight with Fury is unlikely now, so let's get the AJ fight done'.
"I would like to see Wilder have a fight and then fight the undisputed fight, if Joshua can beat Miller.
"That's what we want. I don't know what's going to happen with ESPN and Fury. He's obviously done a deal that he felt benefited him financially.

"He must know it puts the Wilder fight in doubt, maybe he's not bothered about that. We've got to focus on our own business, and that's what we've always tried to do."
Fury and Frank Warren suggested the prospect of a Wilder rematch has fallen off the agenda.
Former world champ said: "I am happy with whatever happens, whatever cards I am dealt. I am happy with everything.
“We are in a very dangerous sport, more than winning and losing, going home healthy is all that matters.
"Wilder is still a useless big dosser, they messed my record with a big blue tick but I cannot complain because I am out of trouble."
