MANCHESTER UNITED legend Gary Neville has trolled Liverpool and Everton with a hilarious tweet before Sunday evening's Merseyside derby.
The Sky Sports pundit poked fun at the historic fixture by suggesting the long-running rivalry was far behind many other local clashes in the North West.
Marco Silva's Toffees entertain the Reds, who are looking to regain top spot in the Premier League after Manchester City narrowly beat Bournemouth.
This will be Liverpool and Everton's 100th league meeting at Goodison Park and the 200th Merseyside derby in league football.
Jurgen Klopp's side will set a new club record in the famous fixture if they avoid defeat but former United defender Neville failed to see what all the fuss was about.
He tweeted: "Right over to Merseyside for the biggest Derby in the North West behind the Manchester one, Blackburn v Burnley, Bury v Bolton !"
The former England international has enjoyed himself into the build-up to Liverpool's crunch game, mocking Jamie Carragher earlier this week on the Reds point tally.
The Anfield club have already amassed 69 points with ten games to play - more than they have finished with in 16 previous seasons in the Premier League.
Neville couldn't help but poke fun at his Sky Sports colleague Carragher, who featured in 11 of those seasons.
