Kell Brook wants rematch with P4P king Errol Spence Jr as he was ‘beating him’ in first fight before horror eye injury

KELL BROOK claims he was beating Errol Spence Jr before he was unable to box on after suffering a broken eye-socket.
Spence travelled to Sheffield in May 2017 where he stopped Brook in 11 rounds to claim the IBF welterweight world title.
Brook was forced to take a knee and forfeit the contest after he suffered a broken-eye socket, unable to see out of his left eye, just a year on from the same injury he suffered against Gennady Golovkin.
Speaking to , “Special K” who at the time of the stoppage was ahead on two judges scorecards, called out Spence claiming he wants to avenge his defeat.
Brook said: “That fight is still there. He still mentions my name, he still would like to fight me, because he knows I was beating him.
"The people around me know what my training camp was like for that fight.
"I was far from 100 per cent, and I was beating him, and the eye went. I would love that fight again.”
BROOK'S RING RETURN
Brook looked set to finally square off against bitter rival Amir Khan, after the Bolton man penned a deal with promoter Eddie Hearn.
But in a dramatic U-turn, Khan announced he will challenge WBO welterweight king Terence Crawford on April 20 in New York.
Left in limbo, Brook revealed he plans to return on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s June 1 heavyweight title showdown with Jarrell Miller at Madison Square Garden.
Brook added: "My Dad has been speaking to Eddie and it's looking like we're going to be added to the AJ bill - the Anthony Joshua bill in New York.
“That would be a good box ticked. I've always wanted to box at Madison Square Garden and I'm looking for titles. I want some big names, so that's where we stand.
“It's a big bill, you've got AJ-Miller and Madison Square Garden. Every young fighter growing up, they always want to box at those kind of venues, as well as Las Vegas, MGM.
