RUN, FOREST, RUN

Anthony Joshua steps up training prep ahead of ‘Big Baby’ Miller with forest run

The 2012 Olympic gold medallist is preparing to make his American debut on June 1 at Madison Square Garden

BOXING star Anthony Joshua has gone back to basics in training as he prepares to take on Jarrell Miller after he posted a clip of himself running through a forest.

The 29-year-old will make his stateside debut on June 1 at Madison Square Garden as he defends his WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight world titles.

Joshua has been uncharacteristically vocal in the build-up to the bout against Miller - where he labelled the American as a "b****" as well as declaring he pays his mum's rent.

The duo had to be held back in their fiery press conference in New York, where Miller shoved AJ when the two went face-to-face.

And Joshua clearly has another knockout victory on his mind as he steps up his training as he looks to take America by storm.

Running through a forest wearing a hat, gloves and multiple layers, the 2012 Olympic gold medallist was filmed putting in the hard work on a crisp Spring morning.

Joshua captioned the video: "Road work like it's 08."

The unbeaten KO specialist trains in Sheffield ahead of his fights, where he uses the GB boxing base alongside the country's leading amateur prospects.

Even though Joshua is worth a reported £35million, his humble training base boasts only a single bed, worn out sofas and just one communal bathroom.
