WWE Super Showdown Results: Undertaker defeats Goldberg, Rollins escapes Lesnar and Orton pins Triple H
WWE produced a night of thrills and shocks as they travelled to Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown.
And with an action-packed match card, here's the results from the pay-per-view in Jeddah:
The Undertaker v Goldberg
The dream match began in explosive fashion as Goldberg immediately hit the Dead Man with a spear.
Taker survived, and managed to hit back with several big blows of his own.
The two veterans continued to smash one another with their moves.
Undertaker went for a snake eyes but Goldberg countered with a spear.
Goldberg tried for a Jackhammer, but could not pick up Taker as he dropped the Reaper on his head in what looked like a nasty botch.
Goldberg then tried for a Tombstone, but Takes wriggled free to hit a Chokeslam before pinning the WCW legend for the win.
Universal Championship
Seth Rollins (c) v Baron Corbin
Rollins escaped Saudi with his title intact despite Brock Lesnar's best efforts.
The champ was on the receiving end of a vicious beating at the hands of Corbin, but the challenger's frustration at being unable to put Seth away proved costly.
Despite a rally, Corbin continued to punish Rollins until he allowed frustration to take over.
After a near-count he brought a steel chair into the ring as he lambasted the referee for a slow count.
But the official refused to take the verbal onslaught, instead giving it back as Rollins took advantage of the pre-occupied Corbin to roll him up for the pin.
The loser did not take defeat well, flattening Rollins after the bell with an End of days, sparking the arrival of Lesnar from the back with a steel chair.
Lesnar was about to hit Rollins with the chair until the champ struck a low-blow on The Beast after he was distracted by advocate Paul Heyman’s trip while entering the ring.
With the former UFC king prone on the apron, Rollins hit a series of stinging blows as Brock squirmed around on the apron in agony.
But the ex-Shield member was not finished yet, and as Lesnar used to briefcase to try and steady himself up, Rollins hit him with a curb stomp before escaping.
WWE Championship
Kofi Kingston (c) v Dolph Ziggler
The champ hit his challenger with the Boom Drop to take control in the match before Ziggler ducked out of the way as he went for the Trouble In Paradise kick.
Dolph then threw Kofi into a post as he launched a fightback but he came unstuck after outside interference.
Kingston’s New Day colleague Xavier Woods struck Ziggler with a flying kick, who was then caught by Kofi’s Trouble in Paradise while dazed.
1-2-3 as Kofi retains!
After the bout Ziggler challenged the champ to a rematch at the upcoming Stomping Ground – but this time inside a steel cage.
Triple H v Randy Orton
These two old foes went one-on-one once again for the battle to be classed as top dog.
The Game took control early, attacking The Viper’s right arm outside the ring before Orton struck back by sending his old Evolution mentor crashing through the announcers table.
The 13-time world champion then stalked and punished Triple H for long spells during the slow bout.
Orton, known as the Legend Killer, thought he had another notch for his belt after hitting the RKO only for his opponent to kick out.
Furious, he harked back to his younger days and tried to deliver a punt to the head but HHH countered and buried him with a Pedigree.
But Orton beat the count, however seconds later he was wishing he hadn’t as Triple H drove him through another commentator table four times.
The Viper was rolled back in the ring, but he leapt up as Trips attempted a punt of his own to strike with an RKO and score the pin.
Roman Reigns v Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon proved he is still “The Best in the World” after defeating Roman Reigns at WWE’s Super ShowDown.
The son owner WWE owner Vince McMahon was the huge underdog as he took on the Big Dog in Jeddah.
But with Drew McIntyre alongside him, the billionaire continued his hot run of victories by upsetting the odds against Reigns.
And he didn’t even need his patented Coast-to-Coast.
Roman looked to be on course for a routine win as he landed a Superman punch on Shane.
But the force of it sent McMahon tumbling into the referee, who went flying.
With the official distracted, McIntyre raced into the ring to land a ferocious Claymore Kick on Reigns as Shane crawled over to score the pin.
IC Title Match
“The Demon” Finn Balor (c) v Andrade
Balor needed to bring out his undefeated 'Demon' to overcome the challenge of Andrade.
Despite being hit with the Mexican's Hammerlock DDT, he was able to kick out before rallying to finish off Andrade with a Coup de Grâce.
"The Demon" remains undefeated as he retained the belt.
Braun Strowman v Bobby Lashley
These two powerhouses locked horns in a colossus showdown.
But after despite getting beaten outside the ring by "The Almighty", Braun was still able to claim the bragging rights as he claimed the win after hitting a running powerslam.

And it was The Usos who emerged triumphant to the delight of the crowd.
