NICK KYRGIOS was involved in another row with an umpire during the US Open as his opponent asked him if he wanted to "play f****** tennis".

After knocking out Steve Johnson in the first round at Flushing Meadows, the 24-year-old then branded the ATP as "corrupt" following his £93k fine at the Cincinnati Masters.

Towards the end of the second set, Kyrgios lots his temper at British umpire James Keothavong after he claimed he was distracted by people walking to their seats while he was serving.

He asked Keothavong at the end of the ninth game: "Is that your job? Why are you not looking at people coming in on my first serve?

“Obviously as I toss the ball, I saw it - that’s your job. Why are you looking at me when I serve? It doesn’t make sense.”

An angry Johnson was left fuming over his antics, as he asked the Aussie bad-boy: "Do you want to play f****** tennis or host a s***show."

Kyrgios ignored the American's comment as he eventually eased into the second round of the US Open after winning 6-3, 7-6, 6-4.

The former Wimbledon quarter-finalist was then asked what he made of the record-breaking fine he was given at the Cincinnati Masters last month after he smashed two rackets, while he also verbally abused umpire Fergus Murphy.

He said: "The ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals] is pretty corrupt anyway. I’m not fussed about it at all.

"I was fined $113,000 (£93,000) for what? Why are we talking about something that happened three weeks ago, when I just chopped up someone first round of a US Open?”

Kyrgios is no stranger to outbursts on the tennis court, with the six-time ATP champion hitting the headlines against Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon last month.

And he was involved in another bizarre row with an umpire at the Rogers Cup earlier this month over a white towel.

While he also threw a water bottle at an umpire's chair at the Citi Open, before claiming it slipped out of his hand.
