Logan Paul finally congratulates KSI for rematch win after Youtube star’s official appeal is denied
LOGAN PAUL has failed in an attempt to appeal his loss against YouTube rival KSI.
The American internet star was beaten by split decision against his Brit opponent - real name Olajide William Olatunji - after having TWO points deducted.
Paul dropped KSI in round four but as he hit his man on the way down and on the floor he was penalised.
As a result it cost the 24-year-old the win as he was beaten by a single point on the deciding card - meaning without the foul he would have won.
The boxing novice launched an appeal with the California State Athletic Commission believing the decision to dock two points was unfair - but confirmed he had failed in his efforts.
Paul confirmed on his channel: "Bad news, my appeal got denied.
"I can't say I did not see this coming. For those who don't know I appealed the two points that the ref took away from me in my boxing fight with KSI, which is the reason I lost.
"So KSI has officially without question or doubt won the fight against me.
"It's not great, if I'm being honest it stings, I hate to lose. It mostly stings though as I quite literally shot myself in the foot.
"I only lost because of my actions."
Paul thanked CSAC chief Andy Foster for giving the appeal the "due diligence" he believed it deserved.

The CSAC told the YouTuber: "You lost this boxing contest due to fouls committed and the subsequent point deductions.
"With his authority provided by California Code of Regulations section 342 Jack Reiss acted within his discretion by crediting you a knockdown and then deducting 2 points for the fouls.
"KSI won the match under the rules of the Commission. You were ahead on two cards, but KSI won the net points due to point deduction from the fouls you committed."
