G-LOVE AFFAIR

Tyson Fury says he would ‘love’ to have Anthony Joshua in camp for Deontay Wilder bout after Brit offers to spar him

TYSON FURY has revealed that he is ready to accept Anthony Joshua's stunning offer to spar him in the build-up to his fight with Deontay Wilder on February 22.

Joshua, who earlier this month reclaimed his WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO belts by beating Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia, revealed that he is willing to fly out to America to help prepare Fury for his rematch with Wilder in Las Vegas.

He told Sky Sports: "Fury if you need me, if you need me for sparring – we’re going to fight one day, I’ve sparred Tyson Fury when we were kids anyway - I’ll go out to America to spar Tyson Fury to get him ready for this Wilder fight

"I would like that fight because I think Fury would fight me faster than Wilder would."

And the Gypsy King quickly took to Instagram to reveal his delight at the offer from his fellow Brit: "I just saw a video of Joshua on Sky Sports saying he'd love to come visit me in camp and that I'd fight him quicker than Wilder - that's for sure.

"When I beat Wilder I will fight you AJ no problem and I'd love to have you in camp.

"I'd really love to have you in camp for this fight and give Wilder a proper beating.

"I hope you mean it because I'd love to have you in training camp. Thanks very much and well done in your last fight, congratulations."

Joshua has expressed his frustrations at his difficulties in pinning down a unification fight against WBC champ Wilder, despite the Bronze Bomber claiming that the fight is possible.

Joshua said: "It still puzzles me as to why it's so difficult to pin this man down.

"And this is the man that I need to pin down and get the last ring so I can conquer this division as I've set out to from day one.

Joshua has been given a further headache in his quest to unify the belts, as he must agree fights with IBF challenger Kubrat Pulev and WBO contender Oleksandr Usyk by next month - or face giving up two of his titles.
