Muhammad Ali’s legacy lives on through boxing grandson who is being managed by none other than Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav
Nico Ali Walsh has a big bout later this month in Los Angeles and fighting fans are being urged to check him out
MUHAMMAD ALI isn’t with us anymore, but the legend’s legacy in the ring lives on through grandson Nico Ali Walsh.
The rising star is flying the flag for ‘The Greatest’ – who passed away in June – and is set to burst onto the scene later this month with a bout in Los Angeles.
And like his grandfather, Nico is looking to incorporate some flair and flamboyance in his fights – as his manager is none other than Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav.
When he’s not riding a hoverboard in front of thousands of fans alongside Chuck D or hanging out with his buddies in thrash metal band Anthrax, the world’s most recognisable hypeman is making sure everyone knows that Nico is the next big thing in boxing.
Young Ali is taking to the ring in LA on July 30, and Flav is urging fighting fans to check him out in action.
: “The boy is good. That’s all I gotta tell you, he’s good. Come see the fight.”
Nico has already recorded an impressive KO win, but the Louisville Lip also passed on his spectacular sporting genes to his other grandson, highly-rated American footballer Biaggio Ali Walsh.
Both lads are popular figures on social media, and will be hoping to do their late grandfather proud in their respective fields.
