TONY BELLEW faces off against American boxer BJ Flores at the Echo Arena on Saturday night.
It is the 'Bomber' Bellew's first defence of his WBC cruiserweight title which he won against Ilunga Makubu with a devastating third round knockout at Goodison Park, home of his beloved Everton back in June.
The 37-year-old veteran Flores has lost two out of his 35 fights, while Bellew has lost two of his 27 bouts.
Flores is a training partner of David Haye, who has been embroiled in a war of words with the Bomber in recent months.

Bellew said: "Me kipper [kipper and plaice - rhyming slang for face] fits the camera well and everyone else wants what I’ve got. If they beat me, they’ve got the keys to the castle. So it’s driving me on even more.
"The only thing that is different [since becoming world champion] is that when I go home, I see a shiny, green and gold belt.
"It’s in the back room, on my glass shelves. My missus has allowed it downstairs, although I think once I’ve defended it, she will stick it in the bag with the other belts.
“I’ve got to put it up high, so my youngest can’t get it because he’s for ever throwing it around.”
Olympic gold medallist Luke Campbell is on the undercard against Derry Mathews.
