Along with a clown emoji, Josh tweeted: "Why so serious"

It comes just hours after Fury labelled Joshua and his team a "pack of s***houses" after the WBA, WBO and IBF world champion beat Alexander Povetkin.

Joshua saw off Russian drug cheat Povetkin with a blistering seventh-round TKO, but hours later Fury was venting his anger.

The Gypsy King - who also threatened to punch AJ's "head off" - claims the world heavyweight champion is running scared and will not meet him in the ring.

Anthony Joshua vs Alexander Povetkin scorecards

Fury's next fight will come on December 1 after confirming he will take on WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

AJ had suggested the next time he enters the ring will be against the American.

And a poll he released on his Twitter page showed fans wanted to see him fight Wilder, too.

Some 186,000 fans had voted within two hours, with 53 per cent wanting Wilder, 42 per cent choosing Fury and just five per cent looking to see him take on Dillian Whyte.

He said: "Think it's now safe to say AJ and his team are a pack of s***houses and will rob the British boxing fans of Britons [sic] biggest fight."
