Billy Joe Saunders aims vile slur at Chris Eubank Jr and father in Twitter spat
WBO world middleweight champ stripped of his belt for doping labelled Eubank Jr a 'bum' after Brit asked him 'how long you been taking illegal substances'?
BILLY JOE SAUNDERS and Chris Eubank Jr have become embroiled in an extraordinary Twitter spat following the former's failed drugs test.
Eubank Jr fired the first shot by goading Saunders - now stripped of his WBO world middleweight belt - over his doping.
The son of the legendary Brit boxer Eubank Sr referenced Saunders comments in April when he said drug cheats should get life bans.
He tweeted Saunders: "So @bjsaunders_ how long you been taking illegal substances for son? It’s funny how you were giving it to Canelo while you were cheating with drugs yourself.
"Enjoy your time out & don’t worry the belt you’ve been stripped of will be in more deserving hands soon enough #Justice"
Saunders was set to make his title defence against Demetrius Andrade at Boston's TD Garden.
BJS had previously called for convicted drug cheats such as Saul Canelo Alvarez to be given lifetime bans.
He said: "When you see people enhancing their body to do more damage on someone, I think that's cheating and it should be a ban for life.
But Saunders took direct aim at Eubank Jr with a vile slur.
He hit back: "You will never win a world title belt your British level tops. Steps up gets banged every time you Bum.
"Go play with your dad's k**b."
Saunders was stripped of his WBO world middleweight title after the performance-enhancing stimulant oxilofrine was found in his system.
