Tyson Fury beats Tom Schwarz in two one-sided rounds in Las Vegas
TYSON FURY landed more kisses on Tom Schwarz in his post-fight celebrations than the German tagged the Brit with in their two-round clash.
The Gypsy King only needed six minutes to land the 28th win of his career, bashing Schwarz to the floor with a southpaw jab before stopping him with a barrage on the ropes.
Round 1: Fury started his American show with a modest round, limiting himself to a selection of left hooks and a ramrod jab from his usual orthodox stance.
The best combination of the first session was a right hand and a left uppercut from undefeated Traveller, who let his lead left hand swing low.
Schwarz used a traditional high guard, with his chin tucked down into his chest, and looked capabale of making the Morecambe man work hard for his money.
Round 2: Fury raced out of his corner and switched to the southpaw stance and enjoyed immediate success with a left uppercut tagging Schwarz right on the button.
Previously unbeaten Schwarz tried to mount an attack but a left hook on the backfoot rocked the German and sparked a huge grin from Fury who dropped both hands and started to showboat.
Schwarz backed him on to the ropes but the Brit’s defensive skills were sublime as he dipped, dodged and ducked his head away from a string of shots.
And moments later the Englishman was on the attack and had the 25-year-old on the floor.
It only took a right-handed jab to slice through Schwarz’s guard and drop him to the canvas at the end of a razor-sharp combination.
And, with just seconds of the round remaining, veteran referee Kenny Bayless jumped in when Schwarz was being peppered and failing to hit back.
Fury celebrated by planting a handful of kisses on his blooded victim before breaking into a song dedicated to his wife Paris.
