Sluggish Fury got punched 127 times by Wallin in bloody victory which was 56 more shots than Wilder got on Gypsy King
OTTO WALLIN landed the most shots on Tyson Fury in a 12-round fight - outscoring Deontay Wilder by 56 punches.
The Gypsy King, 31, battled through a gruesome cut sustained after a left hook in round three to beat 30-1 underdog Wallin by unanimous decision.
But smelling blood, literally, the unfancied Swede pushed Fury all the way before slowing down in pace during the final stretch of the Las Vegas clash.
Forced to switch tactics and fight at closer distance due to the cut impairing his vision, Fury was on the receiving end of 127 blows landed by Wallin.
According to Compubox that is the highest number scored by a fighter against the tricky Brit in a 12-round fight.
Fury’s countrymen Dereck Chisora previously held the record after he landed 115 punches in their 2011 fight.
Out of the five times the Gypsy King has gone the full 12-rounds, former heavyweight ruler Wladimir Klitschko landed the fewest blows with 52.
Fury bamboozled the Ukrainian to a famous points win in Germany to claim the unified titles in 2015.
After beating Wallin he now moves onto a rematch with WBC king Deontay Wilder, set for February 22 in Las Vegas.
Fury, who had to have 40 stitches on his blood spattered cut, revealed he won £5,000 in a Vegas casino after remaining undefeated.
And the traveller heavyweight warned The Bronze Bomber: "I'm ready for war. I think it was just over 40 stitches inside and out with both the cuts.
"Listen I'm all right. It's boxing. You can't go swimming and not get wet. It's the fight game.
"I went to the hospital, had a few stitches, went home and had an early night.
"Then I've got up, gone to the casino, won five grand, had a few beers and now I'm going to have a few more beers."
Trainer Ben Davison, who was criticised by Fury’s dad John, revealed the 6ft 9in Mancunian reverted to Plan B” after the bloody cut.
Davison tweeted: “Tough night at the office. Unexpected adversity, but we always prepare for anything and everything.

“Plan A went out the window, good job we prepared for a plan B. 9 rounds with one eye. Done what had to do and got the W.
“Plan B was to use the size, be physical, use volume and variety to overwhelm the slightly smaller, less experienced man.
“But At the right time in the fight, as would make cut worse with the heads rubbing in close.”
