Eoin Morgan says Jos Buttler and not Jonny Bairstow must be England’s one-day wicketkeeper
EOIN MORGAN has no doubt Jos Buttler is England’s best one-day wicketkeeper.
Jonny Bairstow is the Test team’s keeper but white ball captain Morgan is convinced Buttler’s experience and glovework give him the edge.
England selectors could recall Buttler and play Bairstow as a specialist batsman in next month’s Tests against Pakistan.
Yorkshireman Bairstow missed three chances against Sri Lanka but insists he should keep the job.
Morgan said: “It’s a complicated situation.
