Darren Gough warns returning skipper Eoin Morgan he’ll be under huge pressure if England wobble in the ODI series against India
DARREN GOUGH says Eoin Morgan has made a huge pressure pot for himself as England prepare to face India in the one-day series.
Pace legend Gough feels critics will pounce on the tourists' skipper unless he quickly makes up for missing the Bangladesh trip because of security fears.
pundit Gough said of Morgan: "He got dismissed for three in the first warm-up-up game. He got a golden duck in the second warm-up game.

"If they (England) are winning, I don’t think it will be mentioned, him missing that last trip. But if they’re losing then I think that’s when he’ll come under pressure.
"So it’s an interesting series for Eoin Morgan."
England begin the six-game series at Pune on Sunday.
And Gough's greatest concern is India whacking the tourists' support bowlers out of sight.
He told: "England lack depth in their bowling. They’ve got bowlers who can go round the park.
"(Chris) Woakes, (David) Willey, (Jake) Ball, (Ben) Stokes, (Adil) Rashid all got bashed all over the park by an India A side at the weekend and that’s going to be the biggest worry.
"They have to be on form."
But Gough insists England's batting should take care of itself, despite India's 4-0 Test series win.
He said: "The batting speaks for itself. I think it’s quality, England’s batting.
"They’re going to be playing on better wickets than they did in the Test series. But we want to see quality hitting, not reckless play."
Gough yesterday called for England to keep Alastair Cook as Test captain, claiming the other main contender Joe Root is too similar.
