JOSE MOURINHO has shown off his rarely-seen funny side in a hilarious new ad poking fun at some of his most controversial moments.
The Paddy Power commercial stars the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager taking the mickey out of his Special One status.
From his self-proclaimed nickname to sprinting along the Old Trafford touchline to his bitter rivalry with Arsene Wenger, Mourinho has been in the European spotlight for 15 years.
And now - still out of management following his sacking by Manchester United in December - he is willing to have a laugh at himself in the satirical ad.
It starts with Jose reading a newspaper with the back-page headline "What's next for the Special One?" while a portrait of him celebrating as Porto boss against Manchester United in 2004 hangs on the wall.
He then declares: "It's not easy being special... let me explain."
He walks through a trophy room and talks about his "consistent" successes in Milan and Madrid "but not all achievements get trophies".
He then looks at a newspaper cut-out reading, "United clinch second", a reference to his "greatest ever achievement" of helping United finish 19 points behind Man City in 2017/18.
Mourinho insists "Special cannot be bought," before telling viewers to be "humble and never brag" - as he finishes clipping away at a bush in the garden... in the shape of three fingers.
This is in reference to the times he held up three fingers to highlight his trophy haul - firstly upon returning to Stamford Bridge and then at Juventus for the second time in four days.
Mourinho adds, "To be special you must respect the rules," as a cleaner wheels a laundry basket through the hallway.
That was a cheeky reminder of the time during his first spell in charge at Chelsea that Mourinho was smuggled into the dressing room for a Champions League game in 2005 to get around a touchline suspension.
"Herr Mourinho" of Champions Street gets delivered some mail and then he is offered the "Special Menu" at a restaurant - standard behaviour.
The Portuguese also plays with a dog - named Drogba - asking: "Who's a special boy? That's right, me!"
As he walks past his bookshelf containing items including Obscure Metaphors, Football Punditry for Beginners, The Three Seasons, his own autobiography and The Voyeur - taking another pop at his attack on old enemy Wenger.
Mourinho reiterates: "The truth is we are all judged on results."

The ad finishes when he steps into a London taxi and wins Paddy Power's Daily Jackpot, netting a cool £40,000.
But the taxi driver turns around to confirm there is a winner every day in the game - making Jose realise you don't have to be "special" to win.
A brave man, telling Jose he's not special.
