Willian makes his 300th Chelsea appearance – and unhappy Blues fans all make the same joke
WILLIAN made his 300th Chelsea appearance in the Champions League clash at Lille - and unhappy Blues fans all made the same joke.
The Brazilian winger, 31, has been at Stamford Bridge since 2013 but despite his longevity he's never been able to quite win over fans.
As Willian prepared to play his 300th match in the blue of Chelsea, fans took the opportunity to share their true feelings.
More than one disgruntled fan mocked Chelsea's celebratory tweet, replying: "300 too many."
And comments all rolled in to the same effect, with another adding: "Hope it's the last one."
One even joked: "He'll celebrate it with 2 missed chances and 4 bad final passes. Man like Willian."
Another supporter hit out at the lack of Christian Pulisic - absent from the match-day squad - tweeting: "I'd rather CHO or Pulisic."
However, one or two brave fans did stand up for the 69-cap Brazil international.

One wrote: "You've got a short memory and you're jumping on the bandwagon. He carried us in Mourinho's last season and has been an unbelievable servant for the club."
Another agreed, adding: "Congratulations Willian. The abuse he gets from Chelsea fans...prove they are NOT real Chelsea fans. Deserves his start tonight."
Willian has scored 53 times from his first 299 games at the Blues - including helping to win two Premier League crowns, the FA Cup and Europa League.
