MEL MORRIS is holding out for a stunning £60million before he sells Derby.
The Pride Park supremo has had a £50m offer from an American consortium.
They even flew in to conclude a deal before being told he wanted more cash.
Rams fan Morris controversially struck a deal to buy the club’s stadium as part of a plan to stay within the Football League’s spending limits.
But he is still open to a large investment or sale.
Meanwhile, Tom Lawrence has apologised to Derby for “a total error of judgement” after his drink-drive charge.
The Welshman and Rams forward Mason Bennett will appear in court in nine days following the crash on September 24 in which club captain Richard Keogh suffered a serious leg injury.
Lawrence, who scored in Saturday's 2-0 win over Luton, said: “I wish to offer my sincere apologies for my indiscretions that night.
“It was a total error of judgement on my part.
"I am deeply disappointed in my behaviour.”
Lawrence and Bennett were fined six weeks’ wages by Derby, the maximum contractual limit.

In playing since the incident, against Luton and the midweek game at Barnsley, Lawrence has found himself booed by some of his own fans.
Bennett came off the bench in the draw at Oakwell but was absent from Saturday's squad altogether.
It appears Lawrence's playing career has avoided being impacted with the goal against Luton coming after being called up to the Wales national squad.
