Maxi Lopez forgives former team-mate Icardi after PSG star ‘stole his wife’ Wanda Nara

MAURO ICARDI has seemingly been forgiven by Maxi Lopez for allegedly "stealing his wife".

The Paris Saint-Germain striker, on loan from Inter, is loved up with stunning Wanda Nara, who also acts as his agent.

But their get together is rumoured to have come about when Wanda was still married to Lopez.

However, Lopez, 35, insists he has "no problems" with Argentina striker Icardi - who himself laughed off talk of a rift between himself and Lionel Messi, who is mates with Lopez, because of his marriage to Wanda.

The former Barcelona forward - who played alongside Messi from 2005-07 - opened his heart to Argentine radio show FM Club Octubre.

Asked if he had reached the point of "forgiving" 26-year-old Icardi, former Barcelona forward Lopez said: "Yeah, I do not have any problems with anyone.

"Speaking as a human being, all I want is to find a way to make my children happy, that is the only objective I have.

"As for everything else, that is something that already happened.

"I turned the page on that a while ago and it does not affect me in any way."

Lopez met Icardi when the pair were team-mates at Sampdoria in 2012 and they became friends.

Not long after they met, reports of the alleged affair between Nara and Icardi surfaced - with Icardi explaining in his book how Nara texted him when she was still married.

Lopez and Nara split and began divorce proceedings in December 2013.

The model subsequently married Icardi just five months later in May 2014.

Lopez and Nara have three sons together - Valentino Gaston, 10, Constantino, eight, and Benedicto, seven.

French newspaper L’Equipe last month reported on the alleged tensions at the Ligue 1 champions - describing Icardi's arrival on loan from Inter Milan as "unwelcome".

According to the French outlet, the rift stemmed from Icardi's marriage to stunning 32-year-old Wanda.

Further reports that same month claimed Icardi had been brutally snubbed by his new team-mates because of Wanda.

PSG boast a strong Argentine core with Icardi, Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes.

Apparently siding with Messi and Lopez, it was claimed Di Maria and Paredes treated Icardi's arrival with hostility "out of solidarity with his Argentina team-mates".
