Lingard ripped by fans as keepers Ben Foster and Aaron Ramsdale pass Man Utd flop in shots on target and assists stats
GOALKEEPERS Ben Foster and Aaron Ramsdale incredibly boast better attacking stats than Manchester United man Jesse Lingard in the Premier League this season.
It's been a hugely frustrating 2019 for the England international, with the 26-year-old last finding the back of the net against Arsenal in an FA Cup tie in January.
Lingard also hasn't provided an assist in the top-flight since December.
And the ex-Brighton loanee hasn't had a successful time of the pitch either with the player's JLINGZ fashion line losing over £200,000 in its first year of business.
But two stats in particular have left fans ripping into Lingard after his poor start to the campaign.
Bournemouth shot-stopper Ramsdale has provided more assists than the United attacking midfielder this term, while Ben Foster has incredibly had more shots on target
The Watford ace almost equalised for the Hornets with the last touch of the ball during his side's 2-1 defeat against Chelsea on Saturday, only for Kepa Arrizabalaga to deny him with a wonder save.
Lingard has had four shots this season, but none of them have forced a save out of the goalkeeper.
Commenting on a , one fan said: "There's a lot of things to be depressed about as a MU fan right now but for me Lingard is pretty close to the top of that list."
One posted: "As a Utd fan this twat is what is now epitomises everything that is wrong with our club."
A third added: "He's 27 next month and some people still act he's the 19-year-old talent needing some time to develop himself. This is peak Lingard."
Another simply stated: "The biggest waste of space on the pitch."
One quipped: "He'll have no shots on target all season and still score a winner at the Emirates."
