Earlier this month, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly told United's hierarchy to go all out to sign whizkid Haaland, who has an £85million price tag on his head.

Recent reports also suggested United were willing to let the 6ft 4ins giant go back on loan to RB Salzburg for the rest of the season if they signed him in January.
