Willian is desperate to stay but revealed there has not yet been an offer to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the season.

He said: “I feel happy to play for this club but this situation is not in my hands. It’s in theirs.

“They already know what I want, so I just wait for them.”

Willian has been with Chelsea for more than seven years and won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and Europa League in his spell.

The loyal star is free to talk to rival clubs from January — but is REFUSING to do so because of his love for Chelsea.

LAMPARD LAUDS EXPERIENCE

He said: “I don’t want to talk to them because I have a contract until the end of the season. I’m happy here.”

Boss Lampard has repeatedly underlined how valuable Willian’s experience is towards helping his young squad achieve results.

The Blues legend said: “I know his qualities from playing with him.

“I want to see him happy. He is an easy- going lad who loves his football — he has been huge for me.

“His off-the-ball work has been an outstanding example to the young lads.

“I love him at this football club, so there’s my answer.”
