ERLING HAALAND can leave Red Bull Salzburg for £17million in January and Borussia Dortmund are leading the race, according to reports.
Manchester United are one of a host of European giants hot on the trail of the prolific whizkid, 19, after his stunning form at Red Bull Salzburg.
Bild claim Haaland - who has bagged 27 goals in 20 games - has a release clause that will allow him to leave on the cheap in January.
Haaland is the son of former Leeds star Alf Inge and was born in the Yorkshire city.
He is keen to follow in his dad's footsteps but report adds that the striker wants to join a "stepping-stone club" before moving to the Premier League.
