EVERTON are preparing to make an ambitious move for free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports.

The Toffees want to give him a final swansong in the Premier League and are ready to make him their highest-paid player ever in a bid to lure him to Goodison Park.

Ibra, 38, remains a free agent after leaving LA Galaxy at the end of the MLS season.

A host of clubs across Europe including AC Milan and Napoli are believed to have offered him deals as competition for his signature hots up.
