MANCHESTER UNTIED have been handed yet more competition for Erling Haaland's signature after the striker flew to Borussia Dortmund for talks with the German giants.
The Salzburg starlet has already visited both United's Carrington training ground and Arsenal's complex.
It seems Haaland is destined to either end up in the Premier League or Bundesliga following his incredible exploits in Austria.
With 28 goals in his 22 appearances this season, the 19-year-old has netted five hat-tricks and put eight past some prestigious names in the Champions League.
Salzburg's Red Bull sister club Leipzig have also been strongly linked with a move but Dortmund may yet steal a march.
Late on Wednesday night, Haaland landed on a private jet at Dortmund airport, according to local media Radio 91.2 and Ruhr Nachrichten.
It was just 24 hours after he failed to bag in the Champions League for the first time this season, Salzburg falling into the Europa League after a 2-0 defeat to holders Liverpool.
United reportedly sent their chief scout to watch what was a tough night for the Norwegian.
Haaland is advised by world renowned agent Mino Raiola on his next move as well as former Leeds and Manchester City player Alf-Inge Haaland, also his father.
The former midfielder has previously admitted his £86million-rated son's desire to play in England but perhaps later in his career.
