MAROUANE FELLAINI has shut down rumours he could be moving back to the Premier League to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Tottenham.
The former Manchester United man left England to join Chinese side Shandong Luneng in January after being deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
And it was reported just a few days ago that Mourinho had made contact with Fellaini, sparking rumours of a potential transfer for the Belgian.
But, while speaking to , the 32-year-old was quick to shut down any rumours.
He said: "Jose is special for me. We text each other, we call each other from time to time.
"He's taken over at Spurs and he's doing well. I wish him all the best, but I am good where I am now."
Fellaini spent three years under Jose at United and was often used as a more direct plan B if things were not going well.
He played 47 times as the Red Devils won the League Cup and Europa League in Mourinho's first season.
That included the assist for Paul Pogba's opener in the final versus Ajax.

But it appears now Mourinho will have to look elsewhere if he is to secure a midfielder who provides the physical strength and Premier League experience of the Belgian international.
Another top transfer target for Mourinho and Spurs in January is Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi.
