How Man Utd will line-up at Arsenal with Solskjaer eyeing smash-and-grab on break with rapid front three
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER looks on course to unleash a rapid front three as Manchester United travel to Arsenal on New Year's Day.
Daniel James, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are all set to start at the Emirates, with the Norwegian boss hoping their lightning pace can do the damage on the counter attack.
Martial and Rashford were on the scoresheet at Burnley at the weekend, while James led the charge for the English striker's finish in injury time.
That means Mason Greenwood looks likely to be named among the substitutes again despite scoring four in his last five matches, including a thunderbolt against Newcastle on Boxing Day.
Solskjaer also hinted that Paul Pogba could make a return to the starting XI for the first time since September.
The Frenchman came on against Watford and Newcastle but was left out of the trip to Burnley.
Asked if he expected Pogba to travel to London, the Manchester United boss said: "Yeah, I would think so.
"When you’ve been out for such a while, it’s always going to take time to be 100 per cent.
"He just needed another day, probably, of recovery."

Pogba missed a training session on Monday morning alongside Ashley Young and injured Scott McTominay and Axel Tuanzebe.
But there was good news for United as long-term absentees Eric Bailly, Tim Fosu-Mensah and Diogo Dalot all took part - although the Arsenal game looks likely to be too early for the three.
It means if Pogba starts in North London, he is expected to be supported in midfield by in-form Brazilian Fred - looking to make his 14th consecutive Prem start.
Andreas Pereira would be the most likely man to complete a midfield three.

If Solskjaer is looking for a more attacking side, though, Jesse Lingard could play in the No10 role - that could see Nemanja Matic start alongside Fred if Pogba is not ready.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw were rested for the 2-0 win at Turf Moor but the full-backs are expected to return in place of Young and Brandon Williams.
David De Gea will almost certainly keep his place in goal despite his recent struggles with Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire at centre-back.
