SCOTT SINCLAIR is set to quit Celtic and undergo a medical at Preston after being frozen out by boss Neil Lennon.
The former Chelsea and Manchester City winger, 30, was given permission to leave the Hoops' training camp in Dubai to complete the deal.
And now Sinclair looks ready to head back to England nearly three-and-a-half years after arriving at Parkhead from Aston Villa for £3.5million in 2016.
The forward has made just one start in seven appearances this season - in the Europa League dead rubber against Cluj last month.
Sinclair is understood to be one of Celtic’s best-paid players on £35,000 a week with his current contract ending in the summer.
Chief executive Peter Lawwell activated a further year for the former Swansea star last year.
Sinclair helped Celtic win eight major honours , scoring 62 goals in 167 games, and will forever be remembered as part of the Invincible Treble winners squad of 2016-17.
He also won the Player of the Year award that term.
