Arsenal told to fork out £36m to make Dani Ceballos’ transfer permanent by Real Madrid
ARSENAL will reportedly have to fork out £36million to sign Dani Ceballos permanently in the summer.
The 23-year-old has made 14 Premier League appearances for the Gunners since he joined on a season-long loan in July.
According to the Mirror, the Spanish giants will let him leave this summer if their asking price is met.
Ceballos made an impressive start to life in North London under the management of Unai Emery.
He put in a man-of-the-match display in his first home game against Burnley in August.
And his incredible spell of form saw him recalled to the Spain side.
But he was struck down with a hamstring injury during the clash at Vitoria Guimares on November 6.
Following his stint on the sidelines, Ceballos struggled to get back to his best for the Gunners.
Reports claimed that he asked Real Madrid to terminate his loan deal with Mikel Arteta's side.
It looked like his days in North London were numbered, but he has since forced his way back into the starting XI.

The Athletic claim he proved his true potential to the bosses during the winter training camp in Dubai.
Since then, Ceballos has been a key figure in Arsenal's squad.
Arteta was quizzed about the possibility of making the Spaniard's move permanent following his upturn in form.
The Gunners boss said: "We haven't had any discussions about it.
"I'm really happy with Dani and what he's bringing to the team right now.
"It took him a while after his injury to get to the level that he has and that I've seen in the past.
"He's performing much better now and that's why he's playing much more games."
