DANIEL JAMES revealed Scott McTominay was far and away Manchester United's quickest player over 5km earlier this week
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's ultra-competitive squad have furiously competing for the crown while on lockdown.
But no-one has managed to beat McTominay just yet.
James revealed: “A lot of the boys are going outside, doing runs and sending them in. It's a competition to get the best 5km time.
”It's been good, nice and competitive still. Scott is winning at the moment and I don't think anyone is going to top it.”
While sitting top of the charts at Old Trafford is one thing, there are far more impressive stats behind McTominay's time.
The Scotland international ran 5.03km in 16min 1sec - which would equate to roughly 15:45 if he'd stuck to the 5km exactly.
Incredibly, that time - had it been completed on a standard 400m track - would see him sit inside the top 30 in the whole of the UK.

The British record in 2020 so far is held by Cambridge & Coleridge runner Marc Scott in a time of 13:08.87.
Only the top 27 runners this year have managed to beat McTominay's time of 16:01 - and that's including the midfielder's extra 30 metres...
For context, McTominay is only a little over three minutes off the world record time of 12:37, set by Ethiopian track star Kenenisa Bekele.
British running star Mo Farah's best time at the 5,000m distance is 12:53 - and his gold medal time at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was just 13:41.66.
The women's record is 14:11, set by Tirunesh Dibaba of Ethiopia - with McTominay just 110 seconds away from that target.
The second-quickest time amongst Premier League footballers this season comes from Chelsea star Ross Barkley.

The Blues ace recorded a time of 16:11 - but fans were quick to spot he jogged part of that, before moving on to periods of sprinting and resting, which would give the time an almighty boost.
McTominay's United team-mates Harry Maguire and Jesse Lingard have also revealed their times on social media in recent weeks.
And neither comes close to McTominay, with Maguire posting a time of 17:46 and Lingard a little further back on 18:29.
