Samuel Eto’o says there is ‘no debate’ who was best between him and Chelsea legend Drogba as he was on ‘another level’
SAMUEL ETO'O thinks there is "no debate" about who is the best African striker of all time claiming he was on "another level" to Didier Drogba.
The former Barcelona star was responding to comments made by ex-Liverpool and Bolton forward El-Hadji Diouf who recently claimed the title for himself.
Diouf was said to be a little drunk when he anointed himself the greatest African player of all time and Eto'o, 39, took aim at the Senegalese when asked about the matter.
He said: "Even if my brother Diouf the last time, with an extra glass, got a little lost, there is no debate."
And asked specifically about Chelsea legend Drogba, Eto'o added: "None of them can come and say that they were at my level or better.

"And it's not the fact that I say it, it's a fact, it's something that is there.
"I wanted to be number one and I have been throughout my career."
Eto'o scooped four African Player of the Year titles during his career while Drogba and Diouf only landed two.
Yaya Toure also claimed four but Eto'o remains in no doubt about his status.
