Much was expected of the Barcelona-born powerhouse when he came through the Catalan club's youth system but he failed to hit those heights at Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.

This season has seen Traore become an integral part of Nuno Espirito Santo's side however, notching six goals and ten assists across all competitions.

In fact, he has become something of a big-game player with his Premier League strikes coming exclusively against Tottenham and Manchester City.

Therefore it is little surprise that Wolves face competition to keep hold of Traore, according to .

Bayern are interested should the Midlands club be open to discussing a sale, with City, United and Liverpool all reportedly considering a bid.

Jadon Sancho is thought to be the Red Devils' major priority in their search for attacking reinforcements but the coronavirus pandemic may lead to Borussia Dortmund pricing them out of any deal.

Looking to Wolves for an alternative capture may not yield a different result though, with Nuno's side reportedly wanting £70million for Traore.

Arsenal and Real Madrid have also been linked with a move this summer, with the player stating that his Barcelona history would be "no problem" if he were to sign for their Clasico rivals.

Traore's agent recently admitted that transfer interest would be inevitable for the former Spanish youth international who has transformed his body by adding musle.

Rodri Baster told EFE: "With his age, conditions and the fact he's a very appealing player, there would have been a market for him, no doubt about it.

"We have to hope for the situation to normalise itself and hope that it won't affect him this summer."
