ARSENAL are reportedly keeping an eye on Lyon striker Moussa Dembele as a potential replacement for Alexandre Lacazette.
French outlet claim Inter Milan are interested in bringing in Gunners ace Lacazette should they lose Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona.
The report adds that the Frenchman is not keen on joining the Nerazzurri but Arsenal are closely monitoring the 29-year-old's situation.
The cash-strapped Gunners can only invest money this summer through player sales and Lacazette is among the names linked with the Emirates exit door.
The former Lyon star has just two years left on his Arsenal contract - with no indication that he'll extend.
Lacazette has already been reportedly offered to Spanish giants Atletico Madrid as a bargaining chip to land Thomas Lemar.
But should he perform a U-turn and settle on a move to Antonio Conte's Inter, Mikel Arteta will look to his French compatriot Dembele as a replacement.
Arsenal are said to remain in talks with the 23-year-old's entourage and have sent a number of scouts to watch the Lyon striker this season.
Dembele has been also been a long-term target for Manchester United, even since his Fulham days before Marcus Rashford burst on to the scene and shelved their plans to sign the Frenchman.

But as revealed by SunSport, the Red Devils are now plotting a £60m bid following the end of Odion Ighalo's loan as they look to rival Chelsea for his signature.
They will be buoyed by reports stating the France Under-21 international would prefer a move to Old Trafford over one to Stamford Bridge.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas also fuelled rumours of Dembele's exit by admitting his side may be forced to sell some of their key players this summer.
