‘Jack Wilshere hiding behind bins looking for his career’ – Twitter reacts to nightclub storm over England star
Arsenal midfielder caught up in punch-up after his party allegedly verbally abused staff
JACK WILSHERE has sparked Twitter fury and exasperation after he was caught up in a 3am punch-up outside a London nightclub.
Arsenal and England want their playmaker focusing on his fitness fight ahead of Euro 2016.
But he was involved in a grubby flare-up after his party was asked to leave Cafe de Paris for allegedly verbally abusing staff
Twitter exploded as the Sun revealed details of a noisy exchange that was finally broken up by police.
The midfielder, 24, reportedly did his best to duch away from prying cameras.
And Becky @becksthfc responded: "Jack Wilshere hiding down an alleyway behind some bins looking for his career."
Ricky Sacks @RickSpur said: "Wilshere doesn't deserve to be a professional footballer... stealing a living off those who work hard to be a player."
ftobloke @ftobloke added: "I find it incredible Rwoy is considering wasting a place by taking him to the Euros. For what? Bag carrier perhaps? Bottle washer?"
And Craig Pankhurst @Craig_Pankhurst perhaps summed up the anti-Wilshire camp by asking: "Do we really want him representing @england?"
But other tweeters claimed Wilshere's natural gifts made up for his nocturnal habits.
GoonerGal Sadia @TheGoonerette said: "Oh Jack Wilshere likes a drink & smoke? Who's he hurt? Who's he offended? Get a life.
Memz Dogi @Memz_Dogi arged: "Tony Adams wasn't perfect. But I loved him for what he gave Arsenal and I have no doubt @JackWilshere will be a future legend for our club
Mike @AnyoneButWenger said: "Wilshere could be ten pints of Stella deep and still have a better first touch than any midfielder in the league, give it a rest."
