Man Utd fans beg Mason Greenwood to get a better goal celebration after dodgy tumble against Aston Villa

MANCHESTER UNITED wonderkid Mason Greenwood has been urged to "get a better goal celebration" after his flop to the floor against Aston Villa.

The striker added to his growing reputation with another goal in a 3-0 win at Villa Park.

That took his tally to 16 goals in 42 games in all competitions with the 18-year-old touted as a future England regular.

But one thing United fans don't seem too keen on is his goal celebration.

After he made it 2-0 with a beautiful finish from 20 yards out, the Bradford-born teen slid on his knees in delight.

But a few more stumbles forward before flopping onto his side left many United fans praying he works on a new routine.

One wrote: "Mason Greenwood needs a better goal celebration ASAP because there is no time to waste."

Another added that they would like to see the rookie have a "signature celebration".

Some even called for the celebration to be "outlawed" with one Red Devil worried for his knees, writing that they were "worth £75m each".

The fall to the floor was even compared to how the likes of Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie celebrated goals during their time at Old Trafford.

But aside from the celebration, it was another terrific night's work for the United striker.

And one man who has been left particularly impressed is team-mate Paul Pogba.

Asked about what it is like to play alongside Greenwood at the moment, Pogba said: “I enjoy this kid in training and in the game.

"I will keep pushing him to be at the top. He has so much to do and can do even more.

"What he is doing right now, he is showing he can play in this team.”

Greenwood lashed home another emphatic finish on the stroke of half-time at Villa Park as United became the first side to win four consecutive Premier League matches by at least three goals.
