Ozil ruled out of Arsenal clash with Liverpool with back injury as Arteta refuses to reveal details over flop star
ARSENAL midfielder Mesut Ozil will miss the Liverpool game as his back problem has still not cleared up.
The German, who has been strongly rumoured with a summer exit, has not played any minutes since the season resumed.
And picking up £350,000-a-week in wages, many Gunners fans hope he can finally be shunted out the door.
Boss Mikel Arteta was asked whether the 31-year-old is back in contention for Wednesday's home game against champions Liverpool.
He responded: "With Mesut the situation is still the same as it was."
Before Ozil picked up the injury, Arteta had previously said he was dropped for "tactical reasons".

He failed to even make the bench for the first game back of Project Restart against Manchester City.
The last time Ozil was seen was on the bench away at Southampton, where he was mocked by fans for using an umbrella to shelter himself from the sun.
That could be the last time supporters see Ozil this season, with Arteta telling reporters that he has no update on his situation.
Commenting on Ozil, Arteta said: "He’s still in the same position as he was last week or two weeks ago.
