Liverpool spend £1m on Anfield title party as players choose Coldplay song to celebrate lifting Prem trophy
LIVERPOOL will end their 30-year-wait to lift the league title at the Kop tonight.
And they will do so with Coldplay blaring out around them.
The Premier League champions have splashed £1million on their much-deserved party.
A stage has been erected onto the Kop where the players will lift the trophy after the final home game of the season against Chelsea.
The rest of the ground is set to left in darkness as a light show and fireworks accompany the celebrations.
Each player will have his own area of the platform, makred with signs saying 'please stand here'.
Liverpool's name was recently etched onto the Premier League trophy.
The Anfield side won the title last month after Manchester City lost 2-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
No side has won the Premier League earlier than they did, clinching the title with seven games to spare.
