SOUTHAMPTON boss Ronald Koeman has agreed terms with Everton — and will be named the Toffees’ boss as soon as possible.
The Dutch boss, 53, has been tipped to be the man to take over on Merseyside ever since Roberto Martinez was sacked in May.
And now, Saints man Koeman is set to put pen to paper on a deal to join Everton.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the Dutchman has been swayed by the amount of transfer budget available to him in the summer.
Everton will need to buy Koeman out of his Southampton contract — thought to be around £3.5million.
But once the Is have been dotted and Ts crossed, the Saints man will start his new role as early as next week.
Koeman has enjoyed a superb start to his managerial career in England after joining Southampton from Feyenoord in 2014.
He won 44 of his 91 Premier League games, drawing 17 and losing just 30, finishing a superb sixth last season, ahead of West Ham, Liverpool Stoke and Chelsea.
Everton meanwhile endured a rocky second half of the season, ending up 11th on just 47 points.
Before his Premier League switch, Koeman enjoyed great success in his home, winning 62 of his 108 games at Feyenoord, losing 25 and drawing a further 21.
He does however join Gary Neville as another Valenica flop.
In his first season as a manger, Koeman lost 14 of his 35 games, winning just 12 before being given the boot in 2008.
