Alvaro Morata to snub Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in favour of working with former bosses at Manchester United or Chelsea as striker race hots up

Spain international keen to work with Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho who handed him his Real Madrid debut or Blues boss Antonio Conte who signed him for Juventus

ALVARO MORATA will snub moves to Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain - because he only wants to play for Manchester United and Chelsea.

But the Blues could be in pole position because he will reject a move to Old Trafford if United manage to get a deal over the line for Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to , the Juventus striker’s decision has been swayed by his desire to be managed by either United manager Jose Mourinho or Blues boss Antonio Conte.

Morata is currently away on Spain duty and could lead the line for his country in their Euro 2016 Group D opener against the Czech Republic in Toulouse.

And he is set to make a decision about his future when he returns from France at the end of the tournament.

Real Madrid have a buy-back clause on Morata and are set to spend £23million to get him back on their books before it expires on July 15.

Los Blancos will then attempt to flog him as soon as possible and are looking to double their money in a £45m deal.

The Gunners, PSG, Red Devils and Blues and are all in the market for fire power and are keen on the nine-cap international who has netted three times for Spain.

But he will only move to the latter two because they have the managers he wants to work with.

Conte – who will start work at Stamford Bridge after he finishes national duty with Italy at Euro 2016 – was key in Morata’s decision to move to Juve in an £18m deal back in 2014.

And Mourinho showed faith in him by handing Morata his Real Madrid debut in a Copa del Rey clash in 2010.

Morata said in 2012: “He [Mourinho] is the one who took a chance of me and the one who made sure that I wasn't offloaded in the summer.

“He gave me a lot of advice which has made me a better player and I will always be grateful to him for that.”

Ssources close to Mourinho reportedly claim he has called Morata personally to inform him that he wants to clinch a deal that would bring him to Old Trafford.

, however, suggest that Morata wants assurances that he will be a first-choice striker and that he sees former PSG ace Ibrahimovic as an obstacle to him putting pen to paper.

Should Morata head to Old Trafford then he will get a 50 per cent pay rise that will see him bank £90,000 a week AFTER tax.

That is £45,000 a week LESS than PSG are prepared to offer, but Morata has not been sold by the prospect of life in France’s uncompetitive top flight.
