Euro 2016: England fans react furiously on Twitter as Roy Hodgson set to make SIX changes for the crucial showdown with Slovakia
Three Lions faithful don't hold back as boss set to disrupt his winning formula for vital battle in bid to progress from Group B
ROY HODGSON has faced the wrath of England fans across the country with his latest baffling decision.
The Three Lions boss, 68, was the darling of Lens during the last-gasp 2-1 win over rivals Wales as his attacking, enterprising substitutions changed the complex of the game... For the better.
But just like that, it appears the old Hodgson is back as he is set to drop SIX big names for the Slovakia game.
Make no mistake, England are by no means through - and even if results go there way and a loss is enough, finishing third in the group could mean a showdown with reigning champions Spain.
And, as always, the Spaniards have looked in sublime form as they aim for an unprecedented three European Championships in a row.
It's them or Germany. Ouch, Roy, what are you doing to us?
The Three Lions faithful was in typically scathing mood on Twitter, condemning Hodgson's plot.
One user described Roy as 'arrogant', saying: "Only unbelievable arrogance would cause Roy Hodgson to make 6 changes.
"Keep a winning formula England, make 2 or 3 changes at most."
Another described the move as 'baffling' adding: "Reports suggest Roy Hodgson is to rest Wayne Rooney, Dele Alli, Kyle Walker & Danny Rose for tonight's game.
"Anyone else baffled by this?"
And there were a host of other frustrated fans, with one claiming: "Hodgson making 6 changes will show just how clueless he is, we NEED to win the group #Momentum"
Another quipped: "Someone please explain why Hodgson is making six changes..."

While one disgruntled fan added: "Reports suggesting that Hodgson will rest up to 6 players tonight - utter madness.
"Am I correct in thinking we could still get knocked out?"
One user dubbed Hodgson a 'gambler' saying all of his improving reputation following his Wales heroics are now in jeopardy.
He wrote: "Hodgson is taking a serious gamble with the England line up vs Slovakia.
"Could ruin all his good work from the Wales game."
Another said: "Hodgson is an idiot if that rumoured line up is true, defence and midfield should not be touched."
Finally, one user hilariously compared Roy to madcap boss Ian 'Ollie' Holloway, saying: "Hodgson dropping Rooney and 5 other players is one of the craziest managerial decisions ever.
"Something Ian Holloway would do. Bonkers."
And if all that wasn't bad enough, even Three Lions legend Gary Lineker has had his say on the matter, dubbing it a hindrance.
He said: "England are apparently going to make 6 changes. Personally think rotation is a hindrance.
"The big stars never miss a game. Consistency key."
England fans will now have to sit tight and hope the rest of the talented squad can get the three points against Slovakia, otherwise it could be a dicey road to progress through the knockout stages.
