Euro 2016: England could face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal on Monday after finishing second in Group B
Roy Hodgson's side to take on Group F runners-up in Nice on Monday after finishing second in Group B
ENGLAND will play the runners-up of Group F in the last 16 of Euro 2016.
And that means they could come face to face with Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal on Monday 27 in Nice.
Portugal are still locked in a battle with Hungary, Iceland and Austria to make it out of Group F into the knock-out stages.
And all four are potential opponents for England as they attempt to book a place in the last eight.
Roy Hodgson's men were in control of their own destiny before kick-off, but were frustrated as they failed to convert a series of chances to draw 0-0 with Slovakia.

And Wales' brilliant 3-0 win over Russia sent the Dragons to top spot and forced England into a potentially more difficult route through the tournament.
Hungary currently top the group on four points, with Iceland and Portugal on two each.
Austria are propping up the rest after just one draw from their two games so far and must beat Iceland to stand a realistic chance of progression.
If England came come through that last 16 match, they face a potential quarter-final with France in Paris.
