Euro 2016: Poland and Ukraine serves up a treat in stands as stunners watch clash in Marseilles
Beauties flock to Marseilles as Jakub Blaszczykowski's goal ensure that Poles set up last-16 clash with Switzerland
POLAND's Euro 2016 victory over Ukraine might not have entertained on the pitch but there was plenty to enthral off it.
The Poles made it through to the knockout stages thanks to Jakub Blaszczykowski's fine strike - as a host of stunners watched on from the stands.
Ukraine fans arrived in fine spirits despite their country having nothing to play for in Marseilles.
Their 2-0 defeat to Northern Ireland in the previous game had ensured that they were the first team at the tournament to be sure of exiting at the group stage.
But they had to suffer further frustration as defeat meant they became the first-ever team to finish a European Championships without a single goal or point.
There were plenty of smiles from those that had travelled hundreds of miles to watch their teams.
But all was not entirely calm in Marseilles.
A number of Poland fans let off flares before and during the game - despite governing body Uefa having banned them from inside the stadiums.
Poland could now face a Uefa disciplinary rap but there place at the tournament will not be in jeopardy.
They are now set to face Switzerland in a last-16 clash in Saint-Etienne on Saturday.
