Ex-Liverpool ace El Hadji Diouf pays bizarre tribute to Diego Maradona… by making it all about himself
EL HADJI DIOUF has marked the death of Diego Maradona by paying tribute… to HIMSELF.
The Argentine legend passed away on Wednesday aged 60 following a heart attack.
Tributes have flooded in from around the world for 'Hand of God' national icon Maradona.
But controversial Liverpool flop Diouf instead hijacked the occasion to big himself up.
Diouf, 39, claimed Maradona's support led to him being named one of the 20th century's 100 best players.
The pair later met at a charity match in Morocco in 2016.
