Manchester City transfer news: Samir Nasri set for clear-the-air talks with Pep Guardiola over City future as he keeps himself fit
The 28-year-old is keen to work with the former Barcelona boss despite limited opportunities at the Etihad last season

SAMIR NASRI will have clear the air talks with new boss Pep Guardiola next week – as he is desperate to stay at Manchester City.
The 28-year-old, who is away on holiday, is keen to work with the former Barcelona boss despite limited opportunities at the Etihad last season.
But Nasri and his representatives wish to speak with Guardiola as he fears he is not wanted by the new City regime.
The French international is keeping himself fit while Euro 2016 continues and wants to be in shape ahead of pre-season.
Nasri missed most of the last campaign through injury but is still popular with Sheikh Mansour and the rest of the Manchester City owners.
There have been talks that he could be moved further back in a deep-lying midfield position rather than out on the wing.
A City source said: “It is Samir’s dream to play for Pep and he will pretty much tell him so when they have talks.
“He is determined to persuade Pep to give him 12 months to prove his worth to the club.”
The ex-Marseille star joined City from Arsenal for £25m in 2011.
He has made 128 appearances for the club and scored 18 goals.
