The 124-cap star has discussed retiring from international football which would help him extend his club career at the Emirates.

The 34-year-old played all three games at the Euros but was sent packing after defeats to Turkey and Spain.

In one of the best games of the tournament, Czech’s men did scrape a 2-2 draw against Croatia after coming back from two goals down.

The former Chelsea man was unable to help his side reach the knock-out stages, even with his strange water-bottle training technique.

The shot stopper was back on the grass on Saturday for a knock-up with friend and professional player Radek Stepanek, 37.

The world No32 has been given a wildcard for the SW19 tournament this year after reaching the quarter-finals in 2006.

Since arriving back in the UK, Cech has hit out at Britain’s Brexit decision accusing the ‘out’ campaign of being based on lies.
